As a photographer, one thing I always tell moms is this: get in the frame. I know it’s easy to stay behind the camera, fixing little details and making sure everyone else looks perfect. But your children don’t see the things you worry about—they see their mom.

Some of my favorite photos now are the ones with my own mom. Growing up, she was almost always the one taking the pictures, not being in them. Looking back, I wish there were more photos of us together. Those images have become some of my most cherished memories because they remind me exactly how it felt to be loved by her.

That’s why mother-daughter sessions are so special to me. They’re more than beautiful photos—they’re proof of a bond, a season of life, and moments that deserve to be remembered.
